About ArtGuitar

The Art Guitar® was developed by Colorado artist and technology entrepreneur Steve Spurgeon in 2005.  Using an exclusive, patented process, Art Guitars have the beauty and uniqueness beyond hand painted instruments, but are also offered as one of a kind or limited editions.  Every Art Guitar® is a collectible modern masterpiece—the blending of one’s imagination and the state-of-the-art technology.   This process was redirected to the music gaming industry in 2007 when Art Guitar® and the California based Music Gaming Enterprises LLC were merged to create the ArtGuitar company. 

The RiffMaster® guitar controller was creation of the two companies merging.  The same, exclusive, patented process that was once used on real guitars is now being used on RiffMaster® guitar controllers.  Gamers are now able for the first time to rock out to Rock Band® and Guitar Hero® games with a guitar controller that is not only a full-sized, wood, wireless game controller, but also has their favorite band, sports team, or other custom image on it.  No more cheap, plastic, generic controllers when playing Rock Band or Guitar Hero, but the real deal complete with a custom image on it. 

ArtGuitar went a step further and embraced the explosive growth of Rock Band® and Guitar Hero® by creating their HeadLiner® program for commercial venues that offer live entertainment.  This revolutionary program is a turn-key entertainment system that is designed to be plug in play in bars, restaurants, music festivals, and outdoor events across the country.  Designed to look like a “roadie” case, the ShowCase system makes exclusive use of the RiffMaster® and premium gaming controllers in order to play Rock Band® and Guitar Hero® like never before.  Bar and restaurant patrons will be able to truly emulate their rock idols, with the new HeadLiner program.
