Put your art on a guitar people will actually play.
ArtGuitar® creates playable, collectible instruments by integrating artwork directly onto guitars using our patented Digital Airbrush Technology™. Now we’re opening a limited artist selection for a Taylor GS Mini series—built to be played, photographed, toured, and collected.
This isn’t a sticker and it’s not “merch.” It’s a premium instrument where the artwork is treated with the same respect as the build. The goal is simple: make the art unforgettable—and make the guitar irresistible.
We run this like a curated drop: a limited selection of artists per round, documented and credited. If your work has a strong voice, this is a chance to place it on an iconic object that travels through culture.
Why this matters (and why it’s different)
A guitar is one of the most photographed objects in music culture. It shows up in studios, onstage, in tour vans, and in people’s hands. When your artwork lives on a guitar top, it doesn’t sit still—it moves.
What artists get out of it
- A curated selection (limited slots per drop).
- A premium physical edition built around your artwork.
- Professional content (photo/video) you can use in your portfolio and press.
- Artist attribution carried with the instrument and the campaign.
- Cultural placement—players, collectors, and fans encountering your work in the wild.
The promise
We treat the artwork like the centerpiece, not decoration. That means:
- faithful translation (no “AI remix” of your work),
- clean design boundaries and safe zones,
- quality control at every step,
- and a finished instrument that feels collectible.
Submit work that feels like a “cover art moment”
Pieces with a strong read, clear style, and detail that rewards a closer look tend to win.
We curate drops on purpose
Limited slots are intentional—scarcity keeps the series meaningful and collectible.
We build the story around the art
Photography, video, and a clean narrative that makes the edition feel legitimate and desirable.
What we’re looking for (and what translates best)
If people can recognize your work without seeing your name, you’re already in the right territory. We love bold visual language, confident composition, and pieces that feel alive on an object.
Great fits
- Abstract / graphic / surreal / collage / illustrative work with a distinct voice.
- Pieces that read well from 6–10 feet away (stage distance) and up close (collector detail).
- Work that can be delivered cleanly as high-res digital files.
- Artists who care about craft and love the idea of their work being used—not just displayed.
Good to know
- You don’t need a “music audience” already—strong work wins.
- We can do themed drops or mixed drops depending on the roster.
- If selected, you’ll receive clear specs: size, safe zones, timeline, and delivery format.
- We keep everything respectful: transparent terms, clean credit, no remixing.
Tip: the fastest way to communicate quality is a trio—one macro close-up, one clean full-guitar shot, and one behind-the-scenes.
