Where the Trail Meets
the Campfire
The connection between Stio and Taylor Guitars started more than a decade ago when Stio’s founder bought his first Taylor guitar and never looked back. Over the years, each Stio Mountain Studio came to feature a Taylor guitar on the floor — free to play, with in-store discounts offered to anyone who’d sit down and play a song.
In 2024, that informal bond became something official. Nine artists — each with deep ties to a Stio Mountain Studio location — were commissioned to create original designs for the Taylor GS Mini’s spruce soundboard. The result is a limited-edition collection that feels as natural as music around a campfire.

One of the world’s most beloved acoustic guitar platforms. Solid Sitka spruce top, layered sapele back and sides — big tone in a take-anywhere body. Each guitar ships with a structured gig bag with backpack straps.

Nine local artists. Nine unique designs. Each piece was created to fit the contours of the guitar’s soundboard as a canvas — inspired by the textures of the landscape, mountain town culture, and each artist’s personal voice.
